Though her "party" was small, Lela had a great time on her birthday. Grandma Connie came to visit for the weekend and brought all sorts of new clothes and blocks and a favorite book.
Of course, Maman Shohreh was there, too.
Uncle Ali gave some awesome airplane rides.
Lela got lots of fun birthday gifts. Too many, in fact. We need to take some away temporarily and create some sort of toy rotation in the playroom.Lela likes the Magnetos.
But Babak may have liked them more.
At least it was fun for Lela to knock down!
Lela had a great time chasing Baba Hamid around her new block tower.
Naturally, Lela seemed most enamored with the wrapping paper.
We took so many pictures on her birthday that I'm going to break this down into several more blog posts. Stay tuned for Lela eating cake!
