Fun at Grandma Connie and Grandpa Rick's

Much to the shock of my younger self, my parents bought a house within a 5 minute walk of our home....and we like it!  It's wonderful to have them so close to be able to pop over for a minute here or there. Also, they have a pretty cool back yard for the kiddos.

Here's Lela trying out the baby splash pool.  She's really too big for it, but it provided tons of entertainment.  Out of view is the big climbing gym/slide/swingset thingie and the sandbox.   Great fun!

While Lela played in the water and sand, Grandma Connie watched Sash while Grandpa Rick gave me a golf lesson.  Yes, we can hit golf balls in their backyard.

Lela even gets to spend the night from time to time. She loves it because she knows how to manipulate Grandpa Rick into reading five or more stories at bedtime and because Grandma Connie always makes something yummy for breakfast.  Lucky girl.

Of course, we miss our Baba and ShuShu and wish they were close by as well!
