Baby Shower

This weekend, we had the baby shower that was supposed to come BEFORE the birth of the baby but instead was turned into a "Welcome Lela" shower. Lela, sadly, couldn't make it. She doesn't get out much these days.

Shirin and Laleh Malek hosted the lovely shower in Baltimore.


My friend Becca was visiting me for the weekend, too.


We feasted on yummy Persian food for lunch followed by one of the prettiest (and tastiest) cakes I have seen.


Lela received wonderful gifts, spanning from the practical to the adorable.

I had such a great time with everyone. Thanks so much to Laleh and Shirin for a lovely day!
