I have been fretting about getting a good picture of Lela for her birth announcement. Not to mention that I have not yet picked out said announcement or compiled a list of intended recipients of these announcements. But, I realized that most of the people I would send the announcement to are already readers of this blog, so the knowledge of Lela's birth would not come as all that much of a surprise.
So, I have decided to forgo formal birth announcements. Please forgive me. Emily Post I am not. Rest assured, we will still send out Christmas cards with a photo of Lela's beautiful face.
