My little Lela is FOUR!
I can't believe my first baby is FOUR YEARS OLD. Mind blowing. We had a neighborhood pool party for her birthday. We invited a small group of friends - mostly the neighborhood families plus our good friends Marissa, Lawrence and their girls. We feel really lucky to have met some great families in our neighborhood. The kids range from 2-9 and are almost all girls (poor little Mattie is the sole boy among them!).
This year, we had a simple pool party in stark contrast to our housewarming party / Lela's 3rd birthday we threw last year - here). Last year's party was fun, but a ton of work. This time, we had pizza, juice and cake for the kids at the neighborhood pool. Plus, sangria and beer for the adults. Gotta keep it fun for every member of the fam. Wink.

Swimming with friends was the best part. Lela is quite the little swimmer now. No floaties!

In fact, everyone had so much fun that we forgot to take photos! My parents took Sash home after the cake, and the rest of us stayed at the pool until 8 pm or so. Lela slept well that night!
