Stay tuned for scenes from Lela's First Birthday, Part II. Shohreh and Hamid threw Lela a debut party this weekend to formally introduce Lela into Baltimore society (i.e., a viewing party for all of the Baltimore friends who had still not met her!) which turned into a belated birthday party, complete with presents, cupcakes and singing!
And yes, we placed Lela in a gift bag. (For those of you who don't remember, I had vowed to photograph Lela in all sorts of inappropriate baby-holding contraptions ever since the baby-in-a-mixing-bowl incident, seen here).
We had a fabulous time. More photos to come!
