SHE CAN ROLL

On Friday, Lela rolled from her back to her tummy. Yea!

On Saturday, she started doing it over and over again. But, she didn't really like being on her tummy...so after all that effort to roll over, she would face plant and then scream bloody murder until one of us picked her up and put her on her back again.

On Sunday, this became a favorite game: Roll Over, Scream, Have Mommy Pick Her Up And Place Her On Her Back, Repeat. This was especially fun at nap time.

On Monday, Lela figured out how to roll BACK from her tummy to her back again. You would think the screaming would stop now she can go full circle...but no. She can only roll one direction and after about 2 full rolls she tends to run into a wall or piece of furniture. So, she screams until we move her back to wide open floor so she can roll again. She's a rolling maniac!

You'd think this would get annoying, but it's actually hilarious.

Next trick: learn to roll with purpose, like to pick up a toy or something. Stop this indiscriminate rolling.
