Remember last year's flamingo costume? This year, Lela wanted to be a spider this year for Halloween. After searching everywhere for a store-bought spider costume, I gave up and decided to make her one. Only I practically broke my sewing machine trying to sew giant arms onto a sweatshirt. So, we moved onto Plan B, which was to throw an assortment of spider paraphernalia together. She's got a spider tutu, a spider web on her back (covered in spiders - thanks hobby lobby and my glue gun), and a cute little beret with a giant spider on top.
We got together with some neighborhood friends of ours for pizza before hand and then set off to collect the candy.
See if you can spot the beer and coffee mug full of whiskey stuffed in the wagon. Yes, that's how we roll in the neighborhood.
