Lela and her buddy Miriam

As most of you know, we share a nanny with another family. Miriam is only 2 days older than Lela. They were born in the same hospital, but unfortunately they didn't meet until much later since Lela lived in the NICU for a while. They've been together in this nanny share since they were about 5 months old. It's been such fun to watch them grow up together. At first, I don't think either one was really much aware of the other...but now they are like sisters. They steal toys from one another and jockey for our nanny's attention and affection. They have clearly different personalities: Miriam is more cautious and prefers her chosen favorite people, while Lela is a bit of a daredevil and will grin at anyone, even total strangers (as long as they don't try to hold her - Lela is going through a serious mommy-phase right now!). It's fun to see how they learn from each other.

Our nanny has recently started taking a lot of pictures of the girls. It's so much fun to come home from work at the end of the day and find these photos on our camera!
