Lela has a good friend Emma. She lives right around the corner from us - only about 4 houses away. They are even in the same class at school. Luckily, Babak and I like her parents, too!

We've made quite a few neighborhood friends. It's so nice to have young families in the neighborhood! The kids all ride tricycles in the cul-de-sac, go trick-or-treating together, put "art" in each other's mailboxes, and generally live up to suburbia stereotypes. It's a really nice chance from D.C. and I hope the girls appreciate growing up in a place like this.
