We had a fun Easter egg hunt on Easter morning. Lela liked the "hunt" less than she liked opening the eggs to find the candy inside. I felt kind of bad that I filled all of the eggs with the same sort of candy (Hershey Kisses), but she was nonetheless excited each time she opened a new one. We had to keep reminding her to continue hunting.
She received the basket from the Easter Bunny first thing in the morning. Actually, we may have forgotten to tell her it was from the Easter Bunny - maybe she thinks she just randomly got a basket of toys? Anyway, she had fun digging through it and finding new toys: a barrel full of monkeys, a wind up hopping bunny, some stamps, a little stuffed bunny, a new headband and a couple of books. A good haul!
