Lela came home from the nanny share on Friday with a head wound. The nanny was worried about her (and about how we would react to finding our daughter maimed), but these things happen and Lela didn't even seem fazed by the bump.
Lela is constantly on the move these days. Well, I guess I should say that she's constantly on the move, even though she doesn't log a lot of mileage. She prefers to move around in one spot rather than crawling. She does a lot of break-dance/gymnastics involving sitting, getting up on one foot, spinning around on her butt, doing the downward dog pose and generally looking a little like a crazy person. And frequently, these marathon moving sessions end with Lela doing a face plant.
She needs a little extra TLC these days.
