So Lela has finally started growing hair, but oddly it grows mostly on top in a flattened faux-hawk, usually culminating in a point in the middle of her forehead (the point was more dispersed in the photo above - honestly, it usually looks like a 50's greaser point).I took matters into my own hands and learned a valuable lesson that I'm sure every mom learns the hard way.....NEVER cut your daughter's hair yourself.
Sorry, kiddo.I just know we're going to get even more comments from well-meaning strangers complimenting me on my "handsome little man."
At least the hair is out of her eyes, though. And Lela has not yet developed vanity.
