We visited the fam in San Antonio over Halloween weekend. Officially, we were there because Babak was interviewing for a job! But unofficially, we were there to hang out with lots of family including Uncle David and Aunt Robin!
Sadly, Lela was a little crabby, er, sensitive, all weekend. I think she is going through some growing pains and the travel threw off her schedule.
Despite the sensitivity, Lela had a lot of fun collecting acorns with Grandma Connie.
Then Grandpa Rick discovered that Lela loved going for rides in the riding scooter!
Yup, that's a Rascal. (Purchased for, but rarely used by, Grandpa Rick's 104 year old god-mother, Louise). Everyone took turns in the scooter.
What must the neighbors think?!
We had such a great weekend that we forgot to take more and better photographs. It was wonderful seeing the Grandparents and good friends and family. And the exciting news is that Babak got a job offer (his first!) to join a great practice in S.A. Who knows...we could be Texans once more! We'll make our final decision in January after Babak has one more interview in DC/Northern Virginia. It's an exciting time!
We so want to move down there. We are thinking we will within a couple years. It would be awesome if you did too. Love ya. Robyn
